This by far is the best Veterinary practice I have ever gone too . The staff are extremely friendly and the service cannot be matched by anyone. When Penny goes here she gets excited and believes they are all family, because this is how she is always treated. She gives them five paws even though she only has four big ones. THANK YOU ALL

Dr. Brooks and her staff always are ready to answer any questions about my 3 dogs. T check on hey are very concerned about your animal when it is ill and calls to check on the animal and how it is recovering. They are professional and caring and make you and your animals feel like family.

I could not ask for a better veterinary team for my dogs. From the moment we walk in until the moment we walk out the entire staff is friendly and patient. My dog Bella does not act out like she did in the past at the previous place I took her to. I love how they get on the floor with her, so she is not intimidated and Dr. Brooks is amazing and so gentle with her. I highly recommend Wicomico Veterinary Hospital.

As soon as we arrived we were taken to an exam room, no waiting. This was our 1st visit so a full exam was needed all staff very pleasant,vet explained everything as she was examining my dog, Our appt was completed in an hour

I'm extremely satisfied with the service & care we received from Dr. Brooks and her team. From the moment they took my first call, I felt confident we were in good hands. Their staff actually answers the phone instead of having an automated system to go thru or having to leave a message. Much to my surprise, they were actually accepting new patients. I expected a wait but when they asked if my dog was sick and I said yes, they were able to fit me in the very next day with no emergency charge. All I had to do was secure my appt with a $70 nonrefundable deposit which got applied towards my visit the following day. I found this to be extremely acceptable considering I'm sure they encounter several "no shows". Upon my arrival, I was greeted by the staff and once weighed in, taken directly to the examination room. This is where I found Brittany
to be very thorough in handling our case, asking all the necessary questions & recording detailed notes. Once all the patient info was input into their system, she acknowledged she'd be reviewing this with the Dr and would return to make a plan. This is when Hope joined in to draw blood from our dog to do further testing. Both girls were extremely comfortable in holding & handling our Pit Bull. Once Dr. Brooks came in she did a thorough physical examination & offered information as she went along (heart rate, breathing, eyes, etc.) After the thorough exam & blood work, because our dog was evidently very sick, they told us they'd contact us the next day with the results but to allow them some time because it was after 5:30 by the time we left. By 9:30 the following morning, Dr. Brooks herself was calling with an extremely lengthy list of results indicating all types of test that had been ran. She went over all our many options, expenses, arrangements that would need to be made & set the expectation that there was no guarantee this would heal our sick dog. Never once did she make any decisions for us as it was our call. As difficult as the decision was to make, we opted to alleviate our poor boy from anymore pain & suffering. Once this decision was made, Dr Brooks and her team arranged to get us back in the following day, in a private room, during minimal traffic hours to deal with this very intimate moment for our family. They couldn't have been more compassionate & sympathetic to our sadness. They partner with Holloway Funeral Home for cremation although other options are available as well.
I found this entire process as seamless as possible. The staff is friendly & professional. They are very organized & the facility is amazingly clean! I will definitely be returning with our other dogs. Highly recommend this facility!!

Dr.Brooks worked us inimmediately. Thorough exam. Did not do expensive testing as first option. Made sure I understood she was available if further symptoms presented. I have every confidence Winston is the best hands. Entire team outstanding.
