I have no complaints about the services provided, themselves. Staff are professional, knowledgeable, and very friendly. However, due to how expensive the services and products provided are, I am extremely hesitant to continue to bring my pet to Safe Harbor or utilize these services for him. I have begun to compare prices with alternate Vet service providers and I will probably need to switch providers for my pet. Here is a specific example to help clarify. Heartgard cost me $200 for a 6 month supply through Safe Harbor because the Vet would not send a prescription to a place like Chewy.com whom sells the same product for $60. This is upsetting.

Once again, Dr. Smith & her staff have gone above and beyond for our furry family members. After months of getting no-where, our senior kitty had progressed into a very, very ill state. In fact, we thought we were going to have to euthanize. We decided it was time to get a second opinion.

It is still unclear what the final outcome will be, but we now believe there is a good reason to hope our kitty will get better. We went through a similar situation last year with a puppy we adopted.

From now on, Dr. Smith & the staff at Safe Harbor will be our first and ONLY choice for all our animal health care needs.

Oh my. Thank you does not begin to cover it. Our midori is a terrible medicine taker...so Rhonda and the girls let us come back to help give meds last night. So grateful!!

came here based on reading reviews and unfortunately our experience wasn’t enjoyable. our vet tech was very kind and helpful, however when the veterinarian came out to speak to us following our dog’s visit - she was very rude. she came off as a know-it-all, and shut down any suggestions we made/thoughts. she kept telling us we tortured our dog by having him wear a cone to prevent further self harm to his hot spot/allergy area that itched. highly unprofessional demeanor and we will not be returning. we do not recommend this place overall.

However, I do feel strongly that using an e-collar to stop a dog from itching without addressing the cause of the itching and providing relief is inhumane.
