I dropped off my pup one day before leaving for a trip. That evening, I could not sleep because I thought he was going to be staying on a cold, cement floor in the kennel (he's used to sleeping on a warmer dog bed at home, and he has silky, black short fur...not very warm). The next day, I went back before leaving for my trip with his doggy bed and a toy. The handler was so very sweet and reassured me that they actually gave him a blanket to sleep on after I had left, but they took his bed from home for me anyway, and put it in his kennel along with his favorite toy so he would have something from home and maybe feel better.
When I arrived to pick him up after 5 days, he was so happy to see me yet I could tell they took really good care of my sweet boy. I was told after barking a bit and being a little anxious after I left the first time, he calmed down and was okay the rest of the time. Because I arrived early to pick him up after my vacation, they didn't charge me for the pup play time I had ordered for the last day, since they had not gotten to him yet that day. To me, that shows great honesty as I probably wouldn't had known the difference.
We will use the services of River City Veterinary Hospital again, for sure, as they treat your little fury baby like family.

A big thank you to the staff at River City for working with us on vacation dates so that we could surprise some dear friends recently. We always know that our kitty and pup will be well cared for - even a little spoiled! We recommend you whenever we can because you guys are the best.

They worked me in to see my rotty even though they were fully booked and had an emergency surgery as well. They are always professional and very kind even though most people shy away from the "bully " breeds. I highly recommend river city veterinary.

RCVHospital give our two cats wonderful care. They are thorough and caring and I feel that my fur babies are always well taken care of.

I had an awesome experience both with AJ the vet and leaving Ozzie McGoo with the kennel. I am very impressed with river City Vet, and will make this my permanent vet.
