I am receiving cancer support from Dr. Lundberg. I appreciate her knowledge and the research she does that is specific to me and my diagnosis.

Dr. Bloomingdale listened, was very thorough and provided an individualized concise, doable care plan. I feel better already with her in my corner!

I don't know how I feel right now. I really liked the dr that I saw but upon getting home and researching these things I have been getting I do NOT feel comfortable taking them. Ignatia is essentially strychnine. I do not even want this in my house and I expressed that I was upset about having been given something similar to this by a doctor in the past under the name nux vomica and was told this was not the same thing and was NOT poison. It is poison though, really. However you sugar coat it? This is poison. Kava when looking on web MD is shown to damage the liver and that even three months of normal dosages has resulted in liver transplants and death. Web MD says, "Do not take this medicine." Except: the FDA urge people not to take kava because of the risk of serious illness, liver damage, and death even when taken for only a short time at normal doses. Kava use has led to liver transplants and death in one to three months.

I haven't even looked into the others but I feel like this is a huge waste of money. I am so disappointed because I feel like I made it clear that I was not interested in taking anything that could have these kinds of life altering side effects. I have enough on my plate without needing a live transplant. I now feel like I can not trust anything else I was given at Richmond Natural Medicine making all of these expensive supplements a waste of money. I wish I could go back in time one day and undo all of this. I feel so foolish. I feel like my concerns which were valid were not heard and I was duped into buying these supplements when I expressly asked about the Ignatia being anything like Nux Vomica. I don't know what I was looking for coming here, but I did not find it and I will not be back. Back to the drawing board I guess.

Here at Richmond Natural Medicine, we hold our commitment to respecting our patient's autonomy and privacy key. With that being said, we welcome you to continue to share any further concerns that you have with our staff and we will do our best to continue to accommodate you by addressing them. You are welcomed to return products that you refer to in your post for a full refund; No questions asked. It is and always will be our pleasure to serve you.

We also work hard to empower our clients during visits by encouraging questions about their care plan during their visit and also by providing clients with email contact information for questions that might occur after their initial visit. Empowerment through teaching is one of the seven naturopathic principles that we pride ourselves on at RNM. During our intakes, full disclosure around the care plan being a recommendation and not a requirement is discussed.

As we are now in the digital age, search engines and websites related to health has increased dramatically over the last decade. With more information and knowledge being shared on the Internet, the consumer population has become one that is much more knowledgeable. Which is great. We are excited and encouraged when patients are informed. When we see clients in office we are able to make recommendations that are more personalized rather than a generalized idea one might gather from a quick google search.

As it relates to supplements, the DSHEA Act of 1994 (via the FDA) regulates the safety, availability and definition of supplements. The DSHEA Act was put in place to protect consumers.

Our dispensary contains products that have been deemed safe and permissible under the DSHEA Act and many of which are available for purchase in your local health food store (s). Here at RNM we strive towards first doing no harm. Our ability to consider our clients? personalized presentations and our deep knowledge of complementary and alternative modalities aid us in creating care plans that work well and that are safe for our clients.

Cynthia and I walked out of my 1st appointment with the same impression; professional, thorough, capable clinicians; feeling heard, not rushed or sold to... but the most positive impression was the consistent, friendly, loving, and caring attitudes exemplified by all the staff. Great job!

She was very thorough, and I felt heard not rushed. I left with a tangible plan and items thathat have brought some immediate relief.

My most recent experience was doing a Medical Qigong session with Joy Black and it was terrific. A very valuable experience.

Colossal waste of time and money. I've gotten more expert health information through Google searches. Total scam. Instead, go to a real medical doctor who also incorporates alternative medicine.
