I am new to the area. The Repair Pal reviews for Larson's were good and I set up an appointment for regularly scheduled work (150K miles). As promised we had a call to go over what had been observed and various options were provided me. I agreed with most of the recommendations. I was unable to pick up the car before closing but they suggested a solution.
I rely on my bicycle for my daily commute so I've only driven the car a few times, short distances, since the maintenance. As I was not experiencing any problems with the car prior to the service, I can't say there has been any noticeable change. I have a long distance trip coming up to eastern Maine so I'll have a better sense of the car's performance after that.

The difference between here and the dealer is trust. They provide an honest opinion and the work is comperable and cost effective in comparison. Plus you get a mint on your dash.
