We started driving to Irvine from Long Beach over 25 years ago! Dr. Zarrelli was nationally known for the "show crop" and we had just purchased a show Boxer. Spike's ears were extraordinary and he was recognized as such in the show ring. About 12 years later, after a wonderful long life with Buddy, we purchased another show Boxer and Dr. Zarelli did Buddy's "show crop". Over the years, Dr. Zarelli seamlessly transitioned his practice to Dr. Harner. Yet another amazingly, devoted veterinarian. And now, after 13 beautiful years with Buddy, we have a new little rescue puppy, Starla. We've never considered looking for a local vet. Their staff, their professionalism, their caring concern, their responsiveness, their integrity and the culture that continues to grow at Irvine Pet Complex makes every mile worth the effort! Thank you for all the years of partnership and friendship.

Staff was super friendly and professional. I was able to check my pet in and out quickly with the front office staff, but the wait time in the waiting room was too long. Vet tech took too long to pick up and return pet.

I am disappointed that nobody told me that Nala was going to be in a run the three times I communicated with your center- during the appt booking, during drop off and during the payment on the phone. However, when we came to pick her up I was told that she was put in a larger run and so I owed an additional $9. The cost is not the issue but the principle is. I hate bait and switches and this feels awfully like one.

We are very disappointed with Irvine Pet Complex. On several occasions over the last year, including our last visit, the Vet did not explain the cost of blood tests she was doing before we got the bill. One such test would have been $360 if we hadn't caught it in time. Also, on those occasions, we were never informed about our cats routine shots coming due - which meant we had to schedule a second appointment to get the routine shots completed - even though they were only weeks from being due.

Bringing a cat into your practice is traumatic for both our cats and we would rather not have to bring them in multiple times, if we can avoid it.

If we come in for an appointment again, we expect that costs will be discussed up-front and that routine exams/shots will be discussed or taken care of during the same visit.
