I was super excited to go to ION finding them based on good reviews. I made an appointment with Kat, who is supposedly not only a great stylist, but also a celebrity hair stylist. Not sure if I got to her on a bad day, but she wasn't particularly friendly and I couldn't connect to her at all. While a shampoo girl washed my hair, she told me that she will be the one blow drying my hair. I was kind of surprised that for 150 dollars haircut that includes the blow out, the shampoo girl will be your "stylist". Kat cut my hair within probably 10 minutes and then explained to the shampoo girl how to blow it out. As soon as she started, I realized she has zero skills to blow out anyone's hair. After few times almost burning my scalp and not knowing what to do with my bangs, I stopped her and she called Kat. The hair stylist came back obviously upset that she had to interfere and explained that usually she does the blow outs, but she has an elbow issue. That's all fine, she just could have said this in the beginning and arrange someone experienced to blow out my hair. She saw how upset I was and instead of trying to smooth the situation, she was visibly annoyed and asked me if I am ok! ?! if I am OK? Try to pay 150 bucks for the haircut and have your hair blown out by a 5 year old who doesn't know how to hold a blow dryer.
Maybe Kat thinks that she is a celebrity hairstylist and regular people don't interest her, but maybe there should have been a full disclosure :).
Never coming back!

Been getting my hair cut by Alex for a while now, super happy! And always nice to have the warm welcome upon arrival. The location & space has a "secret hideaway"/inner sanctum" fun vibe, spacious and relaxing at the same time.

I was very satisfied with my appointment last night. The design of the studio was welcoming. All the staff I spoke with were kind and friendly. My only slight issue was finding the place but I did and next time it will be easier.
