Went to Suzanna for mani/pedi at Hyde Park location yesterday. She was terrific. Been going to her for 10 years and hope to be doing so for the next ten! She is engaging, careful, professional and fun! My only concern at this location is the front desk. The personnel there seem to change every time I visit. I feel completely anonymous and quite unimportant. I miss a welcoming smile and comment, something more than a "this is how much it costs." They generally don't seem to understand how important they are to the overall experience and apparently leave that completely to the professional staff.

My haircut with Ava is always phenomenal… Then I went to Amber and she gave me a consultation and took care of my eyebrows fantastically and of course there’s Marie who made my feet feel like a million bucks and took care of me perfectly!! All these three ladies are exceptional they make you feel welcomed… They know their business… And they take care of you always… Hands-down one of the best places to go not because it’s Mitchell’s but because the people that work there !!! The best!!

Toby always does a nice job with my brows, she's kind and thoughtful.
The only thing I would complain about is how dusty the walls in the room was. I thought it was wallpaper when a tad closer, I could see the dust 1/4"+ deep up and down the wall. Toby took a used towel wiped the wall and it ended up all over her pretty black sweater.
Someone needs to take a swiffer to the walls, ceilings, vents etc.

Today I went to the Hyde park location to replace my shellac. When I told the nail tech that what I had on my nails was the s&n powder she became annoyed. She kept telling me how stupid the powder was and that it would take forever to get it off my nails. During the whole process she made me feel stupid and like an inconvience to her. When she allowed me to pick a shellac color she told me that wasn't a good choice unless I wanted three coats, I told her I was fine with that. She allowed the color but only put two coats on. I feel as if the quality I expected is not there today. I paid more today than I have ever paid before at a Mitchell's salon and I am very disappointed in the quality of the work and how I was made to few leaving today.

Never a bad color or cut with Lexi. Not only is she a gifted colorist, her ability to cut and style are always wonderful. Lexi is fun to gab with while she works on your hair. I recommend her to my daughters and my friends .
