We're happy with the customer service but the quality of our kitchen cabinet paint job isn't as impressive. There are paint drips and the two coats are so thin there are areas we will need to retouch ourselves. Our painter was very kind but not quite as thorough.

Sales rep was great. After that, the combination of delays in start, miscommunications on what the contract stated, very sloppy work and being pulled away from the job made our experience very undesirable. That is the gamble you take when hiring a company that may outsource your job.

The overall painting came out to look pretty nice. There were spots on the walls that we marked that did not get fixed, such as some dips, nail pops and there was one where he started fixing it but did not look like he sanded it down before he painted over it. It took me 2 hrs to clean up my hardwood floors after the painter left. There are still specks of paint on my hardwood floors that I will be trying to get up for some time. Overall the job looks nice but he could have been a bit more cleaner and covered the floor better before painting.

Overall, the response time in obtaining a quote and timely delivering on service was excellent. The job itself was not to my satisfactory. I was having a kitchen ceiling painted and the old popcorn ceiling removed. The workers did not take down the ceiling light fixtures prior to painting and rushed the job into 1 day versus the quote of 2 days. The finished ceiling is rough around the fixtures and in some areas the roller marks can still be seen. I had to approve the work while still wet.

We had a really great experience in leaving the painting of our home in the hands of Express Yourself Paint. From the initial consultation at our home, to the estimate, picking out color swatches and getting started all ran so smoothly. The estimate was clear as to what we discussed as the scope of work and the pricing was good. The painter showed up on time and he did a phenomenal job! The color swatches that we picked out looked even the more pleasing once the walls were actually painted. Each room that was covered was done with great attention to detail and he took great care in making sure that he left everything the way he found it. The hall bathroom looks so sleek and modern now that I have it painted. My only regret is that I just didn't go ahead and do the entire living room, as I only had the fireplace wall and the back wall painted for accent. I will be using EYP in the future for more work. I will recommend EYP to others as well. It is well worth the money to have them do your paint job!
