Slow response to emails and phone messages. Improper initial installation. Multiple service visits to get fireplace to operate properly. Paint damage requiring repair after installation.

My first appointment Jan. 12th, was scheduled well in advance to convert natural gas grill to propane. The first scheduled appointment Joe, the tech, was over 2 hours late, after working on it for about a hour, stated more time was needed to complete the conversion. I called to reschedule for another appointment, it was 3-4 wks before an appointment could be provided. Joe did came at scheduled time on Feb. 12th, completed within the 2-3 hour period that was allotted, he was unable to test due to the grill will be hooked to a large propane tank vs a cylinder. He advised once it was hooked up to call and he would come back, due to it would probably need tweaking.
After I received an invoice for the service via email, I was notified the next day as to how I would be submitting payment. I understand services need to be paid promptly but the rep that notified could have handle a little more professional. She could have said something like, 'I want to verify you received our invoice and inform you we can take your payment by credit card over the phone or you can send a check.'
Overall I felt Joe was very experienced in completing the task and the fee was reasonably priced for home service!

We bought a new home and had them check and service the fireplace. It was easy to make an appointment, and they showed up on time. The technician not only checked it out but since the unit was much different than the one I had in my prior home explained exactly how it worked, where the batteries were located (they are very well hidden on this unit) and so on.

Joe was very courteous and efficient. Unfortunately, he did not find the problem. We left the pilot light on for about 9 days and I turned the fireplace on two times after he was here. On the ninth day, it was quite warm, so our air handler didn't circulate air. By evening, I was feeling very unwell and my husband said he had been feeling dizzy when getting up from a chair. So we turned off the pilot light and shut off the gas valve to the fireplace. I guess we'll have to come up with another solution to the fireplace problem.

Still waiting on a price quote for thecfireplace part(s) so I can make a decision. Was told the owner would be emailing me the price quote, but I have yet to get it.
