Poor communication throughout visit. Dr. (Lady with brown hair) performed an unauthorized contact fitting on my 16 year old then insisted I pay $80 because it was part of the exam. Dr. Unfortunately I don't know her name because she never introduced herself at beginning of exam. After the exam she did not talk to me about my 16 year olds eye health or his diagnosis. Once he finished exam $20 copay was collected and they sent me on my way. After I left the eye center I called back to the office to inquire about the exam. I waited on hold for 5 mins and that is when the doctor finally spoke with me told me about my 16 yr olds eye visit. I explained my disappointment with communication from Doctor. she appoligized and she stated she didn't talk to me because most parents send their 16 yr old kids back by themselves. I responded to her with I expected my 16yr old to conduct his eye exam alone but as a professional she should have followed up with me (the parent) after the exam. "Most"doctors always follow up with parents after doctors visit,

Always a good experience. Dr. Hilliard really takes her time and is so very knowledgeable. I appreciate how she explains everything to me and my son, the patient. His understanding is important to her.
