The care my animals have received is outstanding. All of the staff are compassionate, and professional. Dr. DelVecchio has seen our cats for the past 3 years, and I have absolute faith in him. He has takes the time to explain his thinking, courses of treatment and possible outcomes, and does it in a way that is easily understandable but not condescending. He truly loves his work. He is gentle and thorough. I am an ICU nurse and my husband is a hospital pharmacist. So where we do not know veterinary medicine, we do recognize excellent clinical judgment, and compassionate care.
The office staff is supportive, kind and efficient. They have always been helpful with any of our requests. The Vet Techs are so kind and gentle with our animals and us. They work seamlessly with the Vets.
On a few occasions, we have had a minor delay in our appointment times. This only occurred when there was an emergency case that they needed to stabilize. I came to appreciate this two weeks ago when my 17 year old cat, Buffy became suddenly short of breath, and critically ill. They knew her, and so when I called, I was told to bring her straight in. The moment we walked in, they started immediate emergency oxygen treatment and examination. We were informed of their findings and gave permission for the initial course of treatment including IV access, continued O2, x-rays and labs . Dr. DelVecchio reviewed the findings with us. He discussed the possible underlying causes of her symptoms, possible treatments, including referrals to specialists, and obtained permission for the next steps. He was acting like all of the great ICU specialist that I have worked with who have the courage to stabilize life threatening symptoms, and the humility to ask for specialists to assist in diagnosing the underlying cause. We were there past closing time while they worked to save Buffy and still see their other patients. During that time not one person in that waiting room complained about the delay. The other pet owners were gracious about our pain, and the delay it was causing them. The staff was kind and supportive as they stayed past the end of their shifts.
On their recommendation, Buffy was transferred to the Animal Specialty Group for ICU level care. Here too her care was outstanding. We made the choice that night to put her to sleep, and she died in my arms.
A week later we received a condolence card from Parkview Pet Clinic. It had small notes from most of the staff. It made so much difference to my husband and me.

My dog went for a bath, the discount was good but he was still a little damp. This is not the first time I show up and the reception doesn't smile much, they are short and it Felt very transactional. It's like they don't want to be there.

Very good. Dr Yi & his staff were friendly, professional & thorough. Dr Yi asked me about the heartworm & tick medicine I give Brady. I give him Frontline Plus for ticks/fleas & Interceptor Plus for heartworm. Thank you for making our first visit to Parkview completely satisfying.....Brady says "Arf Arf." Guess he agrees!

Each time I need to buy allergy food they never have it in stock. Always have to wait a week for it to come in. Not convient. The girls are all very nice.

I took my pup in for the first time to get a normal check up and to check on a vomiting issue my pet is having. I was switching Vets due to the last one not being a good place at all, so I was hoping to finally find a good vet. I was very happy with our visit! The staff was great. The front desk staff was welcoming, and the Doctor was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and I felt comfortable. He made me feel like he actually cared about my pet and diagnosing what could be going on. Thank you!

I feel very confident giving this Pet Clinic 5 stars as they deserve it, they were so nice to us
they don't try to sell you extra things the way other hospitals do such as Banfield Hospital
I will be coming here from now on, The Staff is friendly and explain things well and Dr Richard YI, is amazing he spent so much time explaining things to us. If you have any pets I highly recommend them you won't be disappointed

My dog Bosko gets very nervous at the vet's office and the doctor is always so calming that Bosko settles down right away. We have never had this experience with any other clinic. The service is great, the clinic is very clean and the staff are very welcoming. :)
