I really like the staff, very caring and informed! My questions always answered in a timely manner. I have taken three of our pets through the years there and everything I just mentioned above has been consistent through the years,. I highly recommend Palatine Animal Hospital.

As always, everyone at this facility is cheerful and friendly which may have a placebo effect on their furry clients. For example, my pup had an appointment to see Dr. Heather for her watery/teary eyes. When Dr. Heather saw her, water in her eyes magically (almost) evaporated!
Also, while we were in the patient room, a staffer brought me a copy of my pup’s exam report which I had left at the office. While it was a very pleasant surprise, it points to the staffers’ professional ethics.
I have been to 3 veterinarians (in the first few months of the pup’s life) till I settled on Palatine Animal Hospital, PAH. Here, not only is everyone courteous, cheerful and friendly, their business practice is also highly ethical, which, IMHO, goes hand-in-hand. The other 3 offices are still trying to “sell” me tests which my PAH vets tell me are not required. Then again, those 3 practices are owned by private equity corporations where their primary obligation is to their investors.
Unfortunately for the pet parents, the number of veterinary practices like PAH which are NOT owned by private equity corporations, is shrinking rapidly. I hope, for the sake of our furry friends, PAH remains a family owned and operated practice for ever.

Due to family emergency I had to request help in boarding- had to be gone longer than expected and had to get more food to the hospital. Employees worked with me to make sure my dog was cared for.
