I have been taking all my vehicles to Foundation Auto Repair for the last 5+ years. I have always found Dan-Jeff-Randy and their mechanics to be priced fairly and give you excellent results. Best of all they only suggest fixing what really needs to be fixed- so HONESTY- on their part is perfect. Try them out- I am sure you will be happy you did.

Begin with ending in mind. Looking for a dependable and honest neighborhood mechanic. Online oil change appointment and follow up call - excellent. Snafu - no oil filter on hand next day. Customer provides. (add 30 minutes more for my trip) Filter cost deducted. Senior discount mentioned by customer at checkout. Where is? No longer offered? Maybe. Oil drops in my garage. No effort made by mechanic to wipe down the chassis? Average to below average. It's an oil change. Check the small details. Will I return? Maybe. Will bring my own oil and filter if I do. Would I recommend? Depends on what the task is. Full disclosure - overheard while waiting for work on my vehicle to complete, an earlier customer offering glowing compliments on the service to his vehicle. Go figger. My unlucky day.

Needed transmission fluids and filter changed and a state inspection. Also requested a photo of filings in the transmission pan to try to determine the longevity of the transmission. That was provided. I am extremely appreciative of the great service that I receive from Foundation. My Suburban had almost 268,000 miles at the time of the service. I plan to run it until I die. So I am particular about maintenance.
