Dr. Stone is a very qualified and professional retina specialist. He and the other doctors there areis supported by an outstanding staff. I have full trust in them to treat my eye issue with supreme expertise.

Lots of medical jargon shared between doctor and assistant; not a lot of 'lay men's terms' with the patient. I honestly think Dr, McLean KNEW before he started my procedure that he would do the secondary procedure yet there wasn't a lot of time given for me to process that he was indeed going to do cyro as well as the laser! When he scoots back and says, " We're finished" I thought that was it but instead he comes back with the cyro which hurts like crazy. Then you aren't given any info about the healing or what to expect, much less complications to look for. Just the general statement that, "every patient is different". Well, I know that, but a leaflet letting you know in general what to expect after any procedure would be great instead of leaving patients to guess. And you are run though like cattle at an auction. I am sure accidents happen with patient mix up! Of the two visits I had there, I met 2 kind staff members and believe me, I saw several! If there were another practice in this end of the state that did these procedures, I would go there. I am not saying Dr. McLean isn't a knowledgeable professional and a skilled doctor. No doubt he is tops in the field. I am saying that he and his staff are closed mouthed about anything going on with your eyes and when you ask questions it seems to be skipped over with no regard to the fact that, you are there because you can't fix the problem on your own! I actually had to make an extra appointment with my ophthalmologist to get the info I needed to make the decision about having the laser (and subsequently cyro) surgeries before going back to WCRetina because the surgery wasn't mentioned at my first visit. You are always told to make informed decisions about your health - kinda hard to do without the information! Just saying. . .

Everyone in your organization has been most gracious and very professional. Dr Stone is one of the best eye doctor I have had the chance to meet and be taken care of my eyesight. I appreciate him and his professional and helpful manner. He is a very caring doctor and explains everything in a manner that anyone could understand.

Everyone that works there was wonderful. The doctor was excellent. The wait was awful 1 1/2 hrs before I was seen. I will go back though. Stars would have been a 5 otherwise.
