We were greeted as we walked in and felt welcomed right off. The staff was extreamly knowledgable and helpful while we made our selections. Highend products and very afordable. We had gone to 2 other stores and gotten quotes. We are on the books for our install and are looking forward to our new flooring!

I am pretty disappointed with my experience. The carpet and quality of the carpet I chose is wonderful, however, I was assured that I would not be able to see or tell where the seams were, and the seams are very obvious. I was not home when it was installed, and when I did get home, I instantly spotted where the seam was and I can feel the seam when I walk on it. It took them pretty much all day to install the one room that I had done, the carpet (that they came out and measured), was too small and they had to go back and get a stretcher and then spend significant amount of time trying to stretch it enough to cover the area.

Mrs, Seymore, we are sincerely saddened that your installation was not to your satisfaction. However, for the benefit of our other existing and potential customers, we feel we need to offer some clarification to the circumstances. After we came out and measured the area in which you wanted your new carpet to be installed, we advised you as to the minimum amount of carpet which we would need to order to do your job correctly and give the highest quality finished install. Once we gave you the quote for materials and labor, you told us that you had measured the area as well, and we were quoting too much carpet. We did our best to explain to you that in the effort to have as few seams as possible, as well as alleviating the need for any head seams (which are much more difficult to hide), we needed to acquire an extra 2 linear feet of carpet. We gave you this information, yet still you refused our strong advisement against ordering 2 feet of carpet less than we recommended. Against our better judgment, we went ahead with your demands and only ordered the amount of carpet that you allowed us. As a result, we had to make more seams than would have been necessary with the additional 2 feet, including a head seam, which is a much more difficult seam to hide due to the fact that it runs across the grain of the carpet, as opposed to a side seam which runs with the grain. The head seam is most likely the seam about which your biggest complaint is based. Neither that seam, nor a few others would have been necessary, had you simply complied with our professional recommendation. Again, this was all explained to you previously, at the time which you had us order less than the necessary amount of carpet.
In short, we do admit that we made a mistake. However, the mistake we made was not in the installation of your carpet. Your installation was performed to the absolute best that could be expected within the parameters in which you allowed us to work. Our mistake was in agreeing to do your job in the first place, when you refused our advisement on the amount of carpet needed. For that we are deeply regretful, but we have learned a valuable lesson from this situation, and as a result this mistake will not be repeated.
