My appt was at 2:30 and I was promptly brought into the room where I was met by Dr. Cekada.

Wait time has always been minimal. Professional staff. Have had a lot of fillings done this past year from them, and I will continue to keep coming back.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with my prior dentist, Dr Clifford Giordano of Massapequa,who misled me for a long time telling me that there was nothing wrong with my oral health( please never go to him he is a liar and will tell you nothing wrong and rush you out and let your teeth rot out of your head) I came to the Smilist for a second opinion and found out that I was much worse off than I had ever imagined, but they were ready to help from day one. From the delightful front office staff to the incredible Doctor Cekada unfortunately I have had some very bad experiences with my prior dentist who missed lead me for a long time telling me that there was nothing wrong with my oral health. I came to the Smilist for a second opinion and found out that I was much worse off than I had ever imagined, so far I have nothing but good things to say and look forward to having all of my issues addressed by their Amityville office !

My dental service was handled in a professional manor.
However, the clinic type operation could use better over site. The messages that I receive appear threatening in that if I do not confirm my appointment you will consider that there is no appointment. Yet, If I receive a tentative follow-up appointment for tomorrow at a certain time, no one confirms the appointment and it is up to me verify whether the appointment is on or off which I did 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time, only to find that there is no need for the appointment. In addition, when I called to set an appointment to replace a broken temporary crown only made two days ago I end up with a doctor that does not make temporary crowns and had to be sent to another dentist. I can only wonder how many other patients have the same problem. I also found that the Dr. that removed a tooth for me no longer works there I have concerns for continuity of service and it reminds me of the clinics that I had to go to when I was a child and always seeing a different Dr.?.

The best dental experience i ever had ! Nobody was rude the dentist explained everything before he did anything . He was very nice and caring ... very professional place and i would recommend this place to the world if i could !

I had been away from New York and on my return I needed to see Dr. Sedaka who was my dentist, unfortunately I see you are the Smiist Dental which is nice. But my visit with the other doctor was not to good. The nurse that took the x-ray was so nice and made me feel very at ease but ... my visit I give a rating of (2) for the doctor. I was disappointed I was not seen by Dr. Sedaka who is a marvelous dentist.
