Awesome Awesome Awesome - with just a small photo of an "idea" my daughter walked out looking gorgeous! Thank you thank you thank you - loads of compliments at prom
my stylist Brooke was great! all the girls in the class were helpful and encouraging of each other too! I would recommend to anyone!
The girl who did my hair was nice, but did not give me the results that I asked for.
Although the student who gave me a pedicure did an excellent job, I must give the salon a below average rating for my experience while waiting for my appointment. My pedicure appointment was at 9:15 on Saturday morning. Since I was a new client, I arrived around 9:05 because I anticipated having to fill out some paperwork. I filled out the paperwork and waited for my name to be called. I waited patiently until 9:35, then I approached the front desk to ask if the person performing my pedicure knew I was there. A student went back to the pedicure area to inform the person performing my pedicure that I was waiting. Meanwhile, I told one of the ladies at the front desk (older, red hair) that my appointment was now over 20 minutes late. I explained to her that I had other commitments and that, at this rate, my pedicure was going to cause me to be late to them. She essentially pooh-poohed my concerns and gave a half-hearted explanation of the steps a student must take in order to prepare their pedicure area which would cause things to run late. She never once apologized to me or attempted to remedy the situation. The only person who offered to help was that nice student who went to the back. As a customer, I found this whole exchange to be demeaning and the exact opposite of what any sensible person in the service industry would consider appropriate. The student performing my pedicure finally called my name at 9:45. I asked her if she knew that I had been waiting for over thirty minutes at that point. She showed me her client ticket that listed my arrival time as "9:35" and told me that she had no idea I was there until she received that ticket. So, my complaints are: 1) that your method of notifying students that their clients have arrived is completely inefficient and likely causes appointments to run late and 2) that your front desk personnel are apparently unable to handle the most simple of customer complaints in a professional and respectful manner.
I always have a relaxing and welcoming experience there. Such great services!!
Danielle was very kind and professional.
The only negative about it was the wait
I would come back again if it didn't take so long
Two hrs for cut and style is long
Danielle was excellent
This was the first time I had my hair colored by someone else. Because I went to the extreme of platinum I was very concerned, but stylist Lydia S did a wonderful job and I am extremely pleased. She was very knowledgable and my haircut was awesome! I can't thank her enough. Jill Z
My daughter and 2 of her friends had manicure and pedicures done for prom- two evenings before prom. The Rocky River facility was over an hour behind when they finally started. The girls felt as if they were "rushed through" the process. There was white polish from her French tips along the sides of 5 or 6 of my daughter's nails that I had to remove when she got home. Two of the lines were noticeably crooked and a third finger had a glob of white polish on the outer aspect. (9 out of 10 fingers!) I am stunned and disappointed that the instructor thought this treatment met the standards that I have seen at the Brown Aveda Salon in the past. The pedicures were wonderful, but all three girls had similar complaints about their manicures, but my daughters was the sloppiest. Separate students performed the manicures. We ended up removing the polish at 10:00 that night knowing it would have to be redone. I did file a complaint and the salon offered to redo her hands the day of prom. However, it was the first time her two girlfriends came to the Brown Aveda Salon, and I know that they will not be back, nor will they recommend the services in the future. In 5 years, this is the first negative experience we have had at the salon.
The woman with the dirty jingling shoes should not be an instructor, she's very nice however her overall appearance is very unprofessional. I thought that Brown Aveda was an beauty school???
The woman with the jingling shoes really looks a mess, especially if she's an instructor.
Nice experience. Got a pedicure. The student did a very nice job although she did take quite a while she I enjoyed the experience. I would go there again.
