I felt like the doctor was uninterested in me as a patient. It was as though she has become complacent with her profession.

It seemed like once I started to consider purchasing my glasses elsewhere that what little interest from the admin staff there was had completely diminished. It was very uncomfortable. It was almost like I didn’t exist anymore. Even when making my payment the person who took my payment did not smile, make eye contact, or tell me thank you.

My experience with Desert Valley Eye Care left me feeling a bit angry.

Doctor Maureen Fahey even came out and loudly gave her opinion about purchasing my glasses elsewhere, how they wouldn’t be able to provide me with the lenses I wanted (which by the way the other provider can and did). It made me really uncomfortable and embarrassed because there were other patients that could hear her. I was a little embarrassed for her as well.

I will not be returning to Desert Valley Eye Care, as a result of the treatment or lack thereof that I received. Why go anywhere in any industry where you are not receiving outstanding customer service?

I was exam was ok. I had given a complete medical history last time including previous eye surgeries, dates and what was done and included copies of the records and they did not have that information from last time. I was not told about a contact fitting fee. I was given no invoice when I paid and was told I would get it when I picked up the contacts and glasses. I was called later to tell me I was wrongly charged and still owe another $60. It was very fruatrating.

The office was busy.

I waited for an hour before I was seen by the doctor.

My prescription was not ready at the end of my appointment. It was emailed to me two days later. I was disappointed in this process. Past eye doctors have issued me my prescription at the end of my appointment.
