The receptionists and technicians were polite, and the eye doctor (Dr. Howley?) was nice to me. However, the eye doctor spent much of the appointment eliciting information about me not because she cared or was making small talk but because she wanted to brag about herself. In addition, I did not like the fact that she made disparaging comments about people in inner city Columbus. I'm not from the inner city, but I still found it off-putting. In addition, as I was a new patient, many people in the office handled/examined my old glasses. Yet not one of them offered to replace the nose pads on a pair of glasses that I told them were over 5 years old. This is poor customer service. No other eye place has been this careless with my glasses.

My experience was very pleasant. All staff are very friendly and helpful. My only suggestion is to have more sunglass frames available that aren't the aviator type. I absolutely loathe and despise that style in spite of that being in style at the moment. Not everyone goes with the trend. Some are more classic, and everyone should be catered to. Thank you.

I was in to the office in December to buy glasses. I was quoted an out of pocket cost of 80 dollars, with insurance handling the rest of the cost (my glasses were almost 500 dollars). 60 or so days later I received a bill that I owed an additional $250 plus dollars. In reaching out to my insurance company I was told that this was in error due to my coverage, so I didnt pay the bill. I ended up getting an additional bill after 90 days with added finance charges. At no time did your office reach out to me in person (via phone) to share that a mistake had been made. It was your office that quoted the insurance coverage incorrectly, not the insurance company. Surely if I was told that I had to pay an out of pocket cost of $300 or more dollars I would have chosen a cheaper frame. I only came to purchase glasses to use the benefit prior to the end of the year. I am a business owner and deal with insurance all the time. If there is a discrepancy between what WE quote to the client and what is actually paid by an insurance company, WE provide a call to the client to at least explain where the error came from (even if we are not at fault). It, in my opinion, is just good customer service. I have paid the outstanding bill in full, and will be taking my business elsewhere.

I've been going to Crowley Vision Care for years. Dr. Crowley is wonderful and her staff is super friendly and the most helpful and courteous of all, which is why I keep going back. There is also an awesome selection of frames there---something for everyone!

Dr. Jen and her staff are hands down, the most professional, and importantly as well, EFFICIENT office that I have had the pleasure of working with - as a Healthcare Administrator I am very familiar with the ins and outs of insurance, the caveats that preclude a service from being billed - Dr. Jen provided one of the MOST detailed examination I think I have ever, ever had! Answered all my questions, explained why my right eye was my dominant eye, and who mono-vision contacts work. I did not leave the office until all my questions were answered. Pleased to say myself and 3 of my now adult children all chose Dr. Jen - not by default but by RESPECT!
