They were very attentive to the needs of my Dachshund's eye problem. I really appreciated being able to watch them put the stain in her eyes & Dr. Singleton's explanation of what he was doing: I felt like I was in class! So rare for a doctor of any kind to spend so much time LISTENING to concerns. My dog had several issues and the printed out treatment plan that I received has been very helpful in remembering everything that was discussed during the visit. So happy to find South Park. Dr. Liu was patient with my skiddish dog and 5 year old who was along for the ride. After finding out that my rescue dog had heartworms, they were very helpful in informing me about the options and procedures. Dr. Liu called that evening to clarify treatment and procedures and assure that it would be ok. I have had other vets with past pets, but South Park Animal Hospital seems to go above and beyond. She is moving the puppies around so he milk is expressed in all - no mastitis. She is an excellent mother and I take care of her so she doesn't have any other worrys. The place itself looks nice and clean and you really feel peaceful and calm once you walk inside. The staff is very friendly and makes sure to explain everything thoroughly so you understand 100%. The vet himself takes so much time with you, you really feel like he cares about your pet. And no one pushes anything on you. They give you your options as far as treatments, give recommendations and leave it up to you what you ultimately decide. My one and only issue was the temperature. It felt very humid and warm inside, so I was physically uncomfortable and that's why there's 4 stars and not 5, but that's minor compared to the quality of the service. My boys have had their teeth cleaned, and I have received a call during the procedure to ask my permission to pull teeth when appropriate. I have one little guy (Sunnee) who has bad teeth so he needs dental care every six months, and the clinic is now offering non-aesthetic dental cleaning, which is less risky and costly. Sunnee had this procedure this week and it went great. I received a written report of what was found just as I would have received with the anesthetic cleaning. Dr. Singleton has also been very helpful finding a solution for my son's dog that has year-round allergies. Bottom line...the atmosphere at South Park is friendly, calm, knowledgeable, and the ability to often get in the same day is much appreciated. And Dr. Singleton is very pleasant, knowledgeable, and you get the sense that he's focused on the conversation at hand and not working his way out the door.
