But this is the world of the HMO coverage and they are all hungry for money because insurance pays so little these days. But on a brighter note, I was impressed with the hygenist skill level, I mean the best I have ever had! In that sense you get what you pay for, and it was top professinal service which surprised me. The new doctor seems very thorough, although it frightens me that he's found so many things that were not identified earlier - pockets deeper than they've been labelled, abrasions, etc. Dawn is very good, though she may have been asked to do things that a dentist should have been doing. She holds the place together and is very caring and professional. Dr. Brown seems very thorough and I always asked for him. I didn't like Dr. Davies at all, nor did my husband. I have a pre-existing, very rare Blood Pressure condition which he was concerned about and needed to be monitored throughout the proceedure, so I couldn't be sedated. He was very caring and sensitive to my BP issues. No pain, what-so-ever after. Didn't need to take any pain med's. So pleased with the whole appointment.
