I was at a party and drank too much and I never thought it would happen to me. I had never had sex so when I woke up the next morning and the guy told me we did with NO protection I was scared and embarrassed. I knew I needed to be checked for any stds but I didn't know who to go to that would do it for free. That's when I heard about FPA. The lady in the office was so nice and had me fill out the family pack form. I made an appt for tw following week and an african American woman was making me laugh historically. I felt so comfortable and she tested me for HIVS and stds. I'm still waiting to see if I get any calls but I know FPA will take care of me if anything is wrong. I can't thank them enough for everything. I came in for a nsa but your NP was so compassionate and didn't want me to have to go thru this twice she let me know I was a bit too early and she didn't want me to have to go thru all that if it wouldn't take and I would have to do it all over again. My first pregnancy I was first seen at planned parenthood, I was made feel like trash, if ever anyonw I know needs the services you provide I would tell them it is worth driving way out of thier way to come to you, than go ANYWHERE else. I was in in out in less then one hour. During procedure staff was very comforting offer to even hold my hand during procedure while other staff was trying to talk about my children just to comfort me. Of course 20 minutes pass and nothing. After 3hrs for a non-surgical procedure..I was given my pill. Of than the time, I had no issues. Staff was great!
