I think the hygienist did a very good job of cleaning/x-raying and it was nice to have my cavity taken care of the same day. My wife & I have both experienced dentists that seem a little shady, and I do not feel that way w/ Dr. Zimmermann or his staff. When I found out I was needing shots at the visit I got very nervous and just new they were going to be painful just like the ones I had as a child. They used a topical gel that numbed real good before giving the shots I had about 5-6 shot and surprized I hardly felt them at all. I truly appreciate Dr. Zimmerman making me so comfortable and caring about how I feel. I recommend this practice to anyone that has had a bad dental experience in the past or recently. My bridge had deteriorated and implants were the best remedy. Although very apprehensive at first, the process has been simple and virtually painless. I have a pretty solid fear of dentists and was recently in for a cleaning (it had been over a year). However Dr. Zimmermann is not one of those. He offered me the feeling that he cared what was equally important was he treated me like a friend and was genuinely concerned about not only my comfort but also my fear level. Thank you Doc for making what would otherwise have been a Horror Session into a time of healing. I will never get over the fear of hearing a dentist drill but at least this doctor minimizes that.
