I had ordered an Ashiatsu massage for us where they were supposed to walk on our backs. After a few minutes of regular massage and after seeing that our masseuses were both in tennis shoes, I realized we were getting the wrong massage. Though it was still enjoyable, therapeutic, and relaxing for us, I am disappointed that we didn't get what we had asked and paid for. I knew that they were booked for the rest of the day so I wouldn't have been able to get the massage I had asked for that day. I specifically went to Avalon because they were offering ashiatsu. If I had wanted a swedish massage I could have gone to several other places closer to my home and for significantly less money.
