Wanted to purchase lens cleaner as I was almost out. The staff was quite busy, though Denise spent a few minutes looking for some lens cleaner for me -- as the office also did not seem to have any in stock. She found a two-ounce bottle, which I was grateful to purchase. A small matter in the large scheme of things, but an example of office staff "going the extra mile" to help a patient. Much thanks! Problems with the manufacturer of the lenses caused a delay. It took me a few days to adjust to the new strength and the jury is still out concerning where the bi-focal line hits. Laura worked very hard to please me and she is very good at what she does. I still may need an adjustment but have become somewhat dependent on the new glasses for reading so don't want to give them up for a possible line adjustment. My glasses were suppose to be ready in 2 weeks. That time came and went and no word. Finally I called 1 day short of 3 weeks as I was going to be right near the office the following day, just sure the glasses were in. I didn't get a return call by afternoon so called again. I was told it was being checked on, then that the coating on the lenses was defective or some sort of problem at the place making them. I feel that if I hadn't called I would be in the dark for as long as it took for them to show up and if the lens coating was a problem this week it shouldn't have affected my glasses which were suppose to be ready last week, before this weeks' problem with coating.
