My 9 year old son and I both had appointments and purchased new eyewear. Everyone was patient as we checked out numerous frames and didn't try to force our hand in choosing as some have in the past. My son has had eye surgery and is fearful of his annual exam but the doctor was very reassuring and did his best to ease my sons fears. Will definitely return. Also, I was very disappointed that I had to pay an expedition fee in order to get my eye glasses in less than 2 weeks. Finally I was really disappointed when the prescription turned out wrong and a new pair of lenses had to be ordered (that prescription was very close to my old one, indicating that I may not have even needed new glasses!!!). Almost $1000 later I am still waiting for my glasses as I prpepare for a long distance bike ride vacation. They found me an appointment time with less than an hour wait time, provided a thorough examination, explained my options and what to do if my problem persisted. Since my insurance could not be contacted on a weekend, they charged only the co-pay and informed me that a bill would follow for any charges not covered by insurance.
