They completed a task on my car that did not need to be done because there was a bigger problem that needed to be fixed in order for the task to work. When I asked for clarification, I was told that is what happens to an older car. I don't believe a leak just appeared in less than a month. I wanted a full refund but would have settled for splitting the cost but no such offer was extended and communication ceased. At this point, I do not trust them and will not return. This year I have been living with a noise when first starting the car or the A/C, and finally got the car in to Cartec. They blamed the compressor they installed, which was no longer under warranty. They replaced it with a new compressor at a cost of $800. That seems to have fixed the noise. I'm not that impressed. I would have preferred a new part in the first place. This repair should not have been needed, or at least I should not have had to pay for it. I've been using them for all my automotive repair and maintenance needs for several years now and have never been anything but pleased with the outcome. They maintain a clean atmosphere (if you have to wait) and the staff is very customer service oriented.
