She had a great personality and very polite. She seemed very at ease and confident in her work. My only issue is with the person who scheduled my appointment. I was a full head foil. When she said she had an opening on Friday evening I was a bit surprised. I again emphasized that it was a FULL head foil and she remarked that it would be perfectly fine. I have been getting highlights done for well over 10 years now and i know that even for an experienced hair colorist..it is very time consuming. I brought in pictures of myself with highlights and pictures fromthe net to help with the experience and make it as easy as possible. I box color my own hair regularly. It was a very dark cool brown. I remarked that I wanted my highlights tobe blonde, nothing brassy, coppery or caramel. My student was wonderful. The instructors seemed very concerned about the clock. This was understandable. I have a lot of hair. While my hair look Ok, it is not what I wanted. I feel that it would have been better to reschedule me than have me sit for four hours and get a result that I do not desire. I did hear a male instructor murmer within earshot of me that it was the best that they could do in the time that they had. I was very pleased with the student. I feel that the scheduler should not have booked me on a Friday night. If there were more time I believe I would have gotten the desired result. I understand that my hair was very dark to begin with, but I hve had this done in the past and my hair was jet black at the time. When i look in the mirror I see no blonde highlites. There is copper, brass, caramel, bronze..all of the colors that I do not like, I left that salon at 10:30. It was very late. I really didnt get a good look at it. No one offered me a mirror to see it from behind. It was wash, blow and go. I told them that I was happy, but I really a not. I do ot feel that this reflects and should not reflect on the student. The instructors are responsible. i guess the saying is true "You get what you pay for". The girl doing the pedicure was repulsed by feet and wouldn't even touch my feet. She missed half the steps in the process and complained the entire time. My 10 year old would have done a better job. S he happened to get the polish on neatly, so the instructor okayed her work. Not pleasant having a pedicure with someone who doesn't want to do it and has issues with looking at and touching feet. Other student gathered around and watched. Some helped when touching was involved. I responded with humor, but am disgusted the the attitude problem of this student. I wish an instructor would have checked on her during the pedicure. The students name was Gabby.
