The old one is still on the vehicle after my oil change service. I even asked him about it and did not see him change it. Further evidence: It would have been a 1/2 qt low and was not, filter on the vehicle has dust and grime only thousands of miles produces not 5 miles home. However upon learning of the new "marketing scheme" I am appalled by the look. It cheapens the product and makes me think I am going to a "Big Lots". They are always up front and honest with what needs to be done- even if it's for repairs that are necessary, but that we don't want to hear about! =:0 They are also willing to work with us when it comes to installing parts we provide ourselves (can be a BIG $$ saver!). They've also made good on not charging us the cost of AC coolant when it came to an AC issue that they worked on, but still needed charging within the warranty period. One time I even had one of the employees help me/work on a light on my car for over 30 minutes- all on his own. Good stuff, VTASR!!
