Since we don't have any dental insurance, I was not limited to any list of orthodontists to choose from. On the other hand, I am a general dentist myself! I work with a number of wonderful orthodontists on an every day basis! Due to my profession and training, I was well aware of what qualities to look for when I had to choose an orthodontist for my daughter. We had our first consultation appointment with Dr. Van den Berg last July and we started treatment shortly after. Dr. Van den Berg is a skilled clinician, he is knowledgable and experienced, he is very professional and extremely patient with children. The staff are very nice and friendly and as a team they deliver an excellent care to their patients. The office is pleasant and is well equipped with the latest dental equipments. My daughter's case has turned out to be more complicated than expected, and I am especially happy that we are under care of such great team that can handle her needs.
