Actually, I did not fully understand procedure as initially explained so I went on the Internet to get a clearer picture. I subseqently spoke with a relative in dental practice in Massachusetts. She explained that there are two schools of thought on exposed dentine: (1) keep area clean with proper soft bristle brushing or (2) apply sealants.
