I am on a very tight budget and when I left they charged me $140... They said it was because they took X-Rays, but it that was not included in an initial visit, then they should have told me. I was very upset. I always pay my bills and I did so, but I did not have the money for such an expense no matter how much my neck hurt. I have five kids and struggle to make ends meet and this was just taking money I could have used on them to us on me and I would have just suffered the pain (which returned in three days anyway) if I had known the true total cost. I think people should do what they say and this did not impress me AT ALL. He saw me on his day off and was willing to give me his number so I could contact him over the weekend. He explained to me my Diagnosis in the way that I could understand. He was careful and kind about giving me my prognosis. He inspired me to move towards a healthier way of life. He explained about over exercise and how it can damage my body. He was very interested and committed to giving me the care and treatment that I needed to heal. I am truly grateful for all of the help that I have received from the McLean staff.
