The Eye Designs receptionist was very accommodating. I couldn't find my insurance card and when I got there she told me she had already looked it up on line and I didn't need a card. I thought that was amazing because I had different insurance than I did last year and how could she know that. From there I waited just a few minutes for the doctor. She came out to the waiting area, introduced herself and took me to her eye exam room. I got to ask several questions about my eyes and never felt rushed. The doctor was very personable and friendly. I will go back today with my daughter to help me choose frames. This was a very pleasant experience. Everyone is nice and friendly. However, friendliness is secondary to being a functional company. Every time I go in, something isn't right. My first experience was a scheduling mistake. I was able to be seen but had to wait to be fitted in. Upon getting glasses I was improperly informed about pricing because the gentlemen seemed a little rushed. My most recent visit was for a recheck on my glasses that were causing headaches, nausea and eye strain. Turns out one of the lenses was upside down. The help I relieved was great and its not costing anything, rightfully so, but that was the last thing I wanted to hear. I understand accidents and mistakes as well as being busy, but this my health in your hands. It was my 1st pair of glasses and probably the last I will be getting at Eye Designs. Two months had passed, and my glasses finally arrived, only to arrive needing new lenses since the measurements were off. Then another month to get new lenses. So if you do not mind waiting, waiting and waiting, then this is the place for you. However, for myself, I will not be utilizing their services anytime in the future.
