She was well over$300 + with tthe only explanation she was asked if she'd like them to check a couple of things, like it was routine only to find out at checkout everything was ala carte. We always attempt to clearly explain the tests and their respective charges. The patient always has the choice to accept or reject these tests. Unfortunately there was a misunderstanding and a nominal fee of $39 was charged. She also had contact lens services, which he did not have, thereby causing some confusion on the total bill. We reached out to this patient to review the charges with him. We will all be coming back for our future eye exams.
