Also appointment was long would have been nice if when scheduling as new patient we were told how much time to plan for. Left feeling like we needed to get second opinion would have had more confidence if we were given the prescription at end of visit instead of asked to purchase glasses from them. I had to relinquish my frames and I was told it would take 3 - 5 days to receive them back. It has now been 7 days since I gave The Vision Store my frames. I called twice and was told my calls would be returned, they were not. I went into the store to find out the lenses were switched left for right and right for left. Now it will be another 3 or more days. I am having terrible eye strain using old glasses and trying to do my work. Next time I need new lenses guess I will get the prescription and go else where for them. People were not friendly or helpful in finding out why it was ta king so long for the return of my glasses. I was told by Dr. that there were $30.00 frames available and the least expensive was $55.00. I was a repeat customer and when I was able to get in was given a clipboard with several forms to fill out. I was the third one to be called although the others arrived after I did. No big deal I was soon called; they were working all of us in parallel. Derek was very efficient and I was soon sitting in the examination chair answering medical history questions. Dr Casaus appeared and the exam was completed; except for the pupil dilation part. I was then introduced to Rachel who very professionally gave me my options for lenses and frames. It was here that I first felt pressured into an immediate purchase. It has been a while since I purchased glasses so I wanted to evaluate my options. I returned to the examination chair and I could tell Dr Casaus' attitude changed since I did not place an order. Next the bright lights in dilated pupils and a reminder that I did not choose the less painful but optional photo method for $40 (not covered by ins). I had selected a pair of glasses and put them on hold; Dr warned me that they could not do that forever and I needed to provide a date that I would make my decision which I did. This ended my eye exam and I was presented with the bill and a stack of papers. When I got home I found that I was not given my new prescription the whole objective of the eye exam. I have emailed them but so far have not heard a response. I will call on Monday.
