We've been seeing Dr. Paul since the office opened for service. I'm please with all he did. But this year we got a nurse that did the job pretty rough. My son has a little cavity, but Dr. Paul recommends to fix it with the expensive way ( more then $500.00 out of pocket). Last time my daughter had worst cavity then this and we did not pay a penny. I know it will be hard to deal with 5 years old kid, but I think you should put yourself in our shoes. Would you pay $500 dollar, while you may do somewhere else without bill? That is the only issue I have other then that I love the office. The process its self was a excellent and the anesthesiologist was great with my son. I felt at ease that my son was in good hands and being well cared for. However I was extremely disappointed that dr. Paul did not meet with me before or after the procedure. I expected him to at least tell me how everything went and inform me of what to expect. Aside from that I have always had wonderful experiences with the dentisits and staff. They are an amazing group who are helpful, informative and kind. Great staff, fun animal-theme atmosphere. She had her first cavity yesterday and was really afraid to the point of shaking and tears. The dental assistant sweetly showed her every step of what was going to happen. We made it through the first filling quite easily after that without having to resort to laughing gas. I really appreciated the time and concern taken for our special needs little boy. Due to the amount of work (extractions, fillings, cleaning, fluoride treatments, etc) it was advised to do all the work at once. Due to using sedation we wanted the work done at Rady's, where Dr. Paul works a few times a month. Dr. Paul was VERY thorough in explaining what needed to be done and met with me before the procedure, after the procedure and called us at home the next day to check in on him.
