From the moment she greeted me at the front desk to the second I got into the car to leave, she was attentive, professional and kind. Esmeralda first gave me a quick tour of the salon and showed me some of the Aveda products they carry. She then offered me a cup of coffee or tea as we sat down to discuss what I wanted to do with my hair. She listened intently and gave me a consultation on what cut might work for my hair type and face shape. She took her time and paid special care when washing and conditioning my hair not to get my face wet or splash me. She even gave me a scalp and temple massage; it was very relaxing. Her skills as a stylist were evident when she began to cut my hair. She was precise and explained what she was doing as she worked on my hair. I noticed that her scissor cutting technique was unique and cutting edge. After the cut, she proceeded to give me a hand massage with a heavenly Aveda skin care product. I felt relaxed and stress free! Upon leaving Esmeralda noticed it was raining out and since I have curly hair which would definately frizz up if it gets wet, she ran and got an umbrella and walked me to my car. The cost was a little pricey but I suppose I am willing to pay a little more for the quality of service. I do wish that they offered waxing services because I would pay for the service in such a comfortable environment.
