I plan to check on distributor O ring, solenoid gasket, PCV valve, CAM seal and oil pressure switch myself. I would have thought you would have done that, but not sure. given small leak droplets continue (and definitely oil and not water, transmission or power steering fluid or windscreen liquid). (BTY, I did replace the power steering pump and O ring. 4 bolt process and easy tensioner adjustment). I also cleaned the engine to get better feel for leakage. I'm guessing you did not need to do this as you did not charge me for any cleaning effort (I advised the engine was dirty...not my car as helping my son-in-law). I 'presume' when you replaced timing belts and water pump, you would have noticed shaft seal, oil pump or timing cover seal leak and assuming those are ok. We'll see. The valve cover gasket and spark plug grommets I presume are in place per your replacement. Oil pan and bolt look ok. As does head gasket. I don't think a leak there but I have kit to test for exhaust in coolant and will do that this weekend. (Recall kit checks for CO2 acidity and ph colour change of test fluid). Doubt this is issue but since I have test kit, will check. There's always Dura-Seal and Engine Restore as stop gap supplement for older cars...helps as you know to make seals abit more supple. Anyway, given engine remained dirty, suspect you could not have been able to detect any fresh leakage after your repairs, but willing to live with that condition.
