She scheduled herself and her mother a 80 minute massage(which I did not know it was that long). When we got to the Spa they acknowledged us and let us know that they will be with us shortly. The began by calling in my niece and then her mother just a few moments later. I sat for maybe about 5 to 7 minutes after that, then someone came over to inform me that their masseuse called in sick that was suppose to do to my massage. The question is, when did they know that information. Was it when we first walked in(they just had opened), because we weren't there that long. I felt that they took the expensive massages first before telling us. Not giving us a chance to maybe change what we were going to have done. Once again I didn't know that my other family members were having a 80 minute massage and that I would have to wait for them. When they came out of their massage they asked me how did I like my massage since it was my first time. They were not happy about it either. There is no way for us to know if they knew when we first got there. They did apologize and offer me 20% off another service(facial or a mini pedi), at which at the time I was upset. I went ahead and did my bikini wax and came out to pay and thats when I found out they my other family members was having a 80 minute massage. So I went ahead and had a mini pedi to kill time will waiting for my family. I thought they could of gave me a free service for inconvience. Not sure if I will go back.... I am dissappointed. He didn't even part it evenly and only cut it in a couple places then charged me an exorbant amount for the hair cut. He didnt put any product in my hair before he blow dried it and when i asked him about it he said it didnt need any. I have thick long hair and it needs product to keep any body. After he started styling he realized it was not going to hold so he spayed each strand with sticky hair spray which is exactly what i did not want since i was going to be traveling and wanted my hair to be soft. I am so disappointed I will not be returning for any hair services not to mention I'll have to go to my regular stylist and pay to get my hair fixed after that fiasco. The staff was helpful showing me different products; but, they were less interested in finding my very expensive glasses -- which, by the way, they should have retrieved from the 'facial customer' when she picked them up and asked the price . . .! I can't say how dismayed I am at the 'facial customer's' less than honest behavior; but, I can say that your lost and found procedures need some revision. My sincerest thanks to the one lady on your staff that took my concerns seriously, queried the beauticians, and then asked her supervisor to interrupt the facial to retrieve my glasses. She's definitely a keeper! So, I'm torn . . . top marks for this lady. Not so much for the rest of the group. All 3 of us were very disappointed. I was told the manager would ctc us, but no call came. We were also kept waiting for someone to see us after the facials, but yet again no one appeared - only the front office with the bill for facials. Faryn has a great technique & excellent pressure intuitively. Also super funny ha! Beatriz was very personable as well. She gave such a soothing facial. My haggard mommy skin was rejuvenated! I sincerely felt like a million bucks afterwards! I was given these treatments as a gift almost a year ago & I'm happy I waited, otherwise I might never have been scheduled with them.
