I was impressed with Dr. Grabiak. I called on a day they were closed, but received a call back hours later and obtained an appointment. I drove to Dr. Grabiak's office 3 hrs. round trip my first visit because I had a tooth ache under a crown; and I had other dental work I'd need done later. I was not scheduled for a root canal that day; however, I was pleased that Dr. White was there and after finishing his work with another client, he did my root canal. That night I did not need any pain meds. and am pain free! Dr. Grabiak worked out a plan to complete my dental work and the cost was okay with me. He'll file your insurance, and if you don't have insurance, he has plans for you. I am pleased to know that I will get the best care under one of the best dentists in the state of Colorado!! The facilities were clean, neat, and the best anywhere. What made the facilities beautiful is the office staff who are as concerned about your "smile" health as is the doctor. I would highly recommend him to anyone wanting a safe place to go to have all their dental needs met through the hands of a gifted dentist! He was very thorough in checking every single one of my teeth, and even took pictures of the good and the bad for me to see, compare, and understand the work that was needed. The dental hygienist was also very thorough and the entire experience was very educational. If there is anything negative to say, it is that I felt a little down about myself after leaving because I never understood how bad I was taking care of my teeth until yesterday. But really, that is a net positive, because it motivated me to word harder on my dental hygiene. The 1st hour went fine, the 2nd hour was 10 or more on a scale of 1 to 10 for pain. After I momentarily lost conciousness and swallowed some water, I don't remember much until Jennifer was talking to me about Arvada West. Hour 3 went good after, Jennifer stopped the water/air. Jennifer did a great job, it went fine with her. Stopping in the 2nd hour was a huge mistake on my part, the numbness wore off even more in most areas. Compared to Dr. White, this was a minus 10 below zero, on a 1 to 10 scale. I am a high functioning Autistic, plus I don't drink, smoke or do drugs, and am a vegetarian, that exercises everyday, so all the usual factors about dosages just don't really apply. My Autism Doctor wanted me to express what happened. By the time I left the office. There absolutely no numbness anywhere. Just pain. Visuals in the 2nd hour went red, blue, greenish, gold, white at least 4 to 5 times, one slight loss of consiousness in the white zone, with water swallowing. Some loss of hearing. I am sorry I just couldn't focus on what Jennifer was saying until Arvada West, and I still can't see the school in my mind. Somehow we need to adjust the dosage upward. Today I have some puffyness around the back crown, may need some antibiotics.
