Further development within specialty will prove wonders. Had pictures of the haircut length, cut style and color I had envisioned, but walked out with neither. Originally opted to try out this salon because of the great reviews on Yelp as I wanted to avoid a trip to Seal Beach where my current hairstylist works out of. Needless to say, I went back to my original stylist two days later; the trip was definitely worth it. I will not be returning to this salon. Having a day for me...even if it is just for a trim, the entire experience is breathtaking. I had a new stylist (Erika) this last time & she was very relaxed, easy going, positive vibe & encouraging of the Aveda lifestyle that keeps me (us customers) coming back for more :). The neck massage is phenomenal at the beginning prior to the trimming of the hair & the concept of the Chakras to promote balance is by far, the reason I am hooked to Aveda lifestyle. As a Yoga instructor, as well as working in a fast passed intensive care unit; there are moments where one needs to stop & take just enough time to self reflect & breathe. Also she didn't touch up the cut after it was dry, like she mentioned she would do. I feel as though the cut was ok but not completely finished.
