Another Dentist recommended I get a very expensive unnecessary crown and Dr Caven offer me and my wife a free second look. He recommended I get a much less expensive less invasive filling an throughly explained why. The work they did on my fillings was very good. One of the cavities was very close to the nerve so was quite sensitive. I am not typically apprehensive about the dentist but I knew that my tooth was really sensitive and in the past that just meant pain the dental chair. Being a new patient at this office I wasn't sure what to expect. It was the BEST experience I've ever had for this procedure. Besides being numb for a few hours after I left the office, there was no sign I just had an extensive clean out of my teeth and fillings. Dr. Caven and his team introduced themselves, made sure I was comfortable every step of the way and explained all that was happening. I was comfortable and relaxed the entire time. I was also touched that Dr. Caven called later that afternoon to see how I was feeling. Such a great personal touch! I've traveled quite a bit in my life time so I've seen many different dentists. I have never been treated so exceptional. Dr. Caven and his entire staff went above and beyond the normal care you would receive. I came in for my initial consultation. It was so thorough. Dr. Caven spent about an hour going over every tooth and discussed what needed to be done. My second visit, I came in for my cleaning. My third visit, I had a lot of work done. The visit was quite intense and lasted about three hours. During this time, I was very nervous, Heather and Dr. Caven made me feel comfortable and talked me through the entire procedure. What shocked me the most is that night about 8:00pm, my phone rang and it was Dr. Caven checking to see if I was doing OK, because I had so much work done. I could not believe he would take time out of this family time, to actually call and check on me after hours. This once again was above and beyond the call of duty. My next visit was to fit me for my night guard. I never realized that I had a habit of grinding my teeth, but because of my in-depth consultation, Dr. Caven was able to determine this. I have now completed all necessary procedures to get my teeth in the best possible health. To top all this off, I received a flower arrangement, delivered to my work, saying thank you for being our patient and for completing my dental work. Wow, I could not believe how much they appreciate their patients. My next visit with them is in six months for my next cleaning. I am so thankful I found them and became their patient.
