I even put off teeth cleaning in the last couple of years due to my fears. I recently started going to Dr. Granath for cleaning and a filling after some tooth pain made any further dental appointment procrastination impossible! My experience has been SO positive that I have actually begun having my amalgram fillings replaced! This is something I have put off for 25 years due to my phobia. I cannot say enough about how easy my appointments have been on every level with the staff; how attentive, kind and wonderful the Dr. and they all are; how pain-free Dr. Granath makes treatments; and how well taken care of I am! I am absolutely amazed that it can feel both physically comfortable and emotionally safe to be a patient at Dr. Granath's dental practice. I am so delighted and grateful to have found this office! He took his time, asked me many questions, and listened attentively to my responses. He was in no hurry to rush off to his next patient, but was relaxed, open, and comfortable to be with. Another great thing is Dr. Granath is holistically oriented. He offers the same procedures as a more conventional type dentist but with added advanced technology such as Ozone . He's also Swedish and trained in Sweden where they take their schooling seriously. His staff is really nice and the environment is welcoming, relaxed and comfortable. I'm so glad to have found him. Recommended to me by a past-president of the IAOMT, Dr. Kennedy, Dr. Granath replaced 4 upper mercury amalgam fillings within about two hours. Today, not even 24 hours later, I feel no pain, can chew without any difficulty, and my mercury fillings are gone. He and his staff were personable, professional, and highly competent. He is up to date with his equipment and knowledge of the dental craft. He is very sensitive to the patients comfort and has great attention to the details of his work. I can honestly say he is the only dentist that I have gone to that not only makes my visits a totally painless experience but the whole staff is a complete joy to be around. My health was severely affected. I learned of Dr. Granath on an internet search and went to him and his staff to have my bad crowns removed and replaced with safe crowns, which can be made and replaced during your visit. Dr. Granath and his capable staff now oversee my dental health. My gums are improving and my health is doing much better. I highly recommend Dr. Granath if you need safe dentistry. I've been wanting to get my amalgams out for a few months when I realized they could be the source of allergies and pain I had been experiencing. I researched several dentisits before deciding upon dr Granath. I appreciate that he takes all appropriate and necessary procautions to keep my exposure to this poison to a minimum. He explained everything to me, and took the time to talk to me about wellness and ways to detox including oil pulling(look it up) amazing! I feel better already one day after! I feel like I have a foriegn object out of my body that was draining my chi. Dr. Granath is a pioneer and understands the body as a whole.
