Entering the salon was warmly welcoming and unpretentious, facilitated by the competent direction of the front desk attendant. The complimentary drink service is a very nice touch. I chose the brewed tea, which was incredibly yummy. My chosen hairstylist, Melinda, greeting me warmly on time. She listened carefully to my hair care habits and hairstyle desire, asking questions to clarify what I wanted to match my wavy/curly hair texture. Melinda accommodated my scalp's need for a non-sodium laurel sulfate shampoo so I did not leave the salon with an itchy scalp. While working her magic on my mane, Melinda provided pleasant, fun conversation. In short work, she easily captured what I wanted and I left the salon with a new hairstyle that captures my personality. Thank you, Maximum FX and Melinda, for a pleasant experience!
