The staff is friendly, as is Drs. Don & Laarni Shimizu and Dr. Tan. Their office is modern and tastefully decorated. They have all the latest equipment and amenities. I am typically there for cleanings twice a year and my hygenists have always been a gentle, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. There's no chance you'll miss an appointment, they use every means at their disposal to remind you via text, e-mail, phone calls. They are very thorough (with both insurance verification and health history) and I felt comfortable with them. Both the hygenist and dentist were equally as friendly and thorough. I got a great cleaning and will be back to get some minor work done. I was very nervous as I had not been to the dentist in over 5 years and Dr. Shimizu went over everything in a manner that was informative but not scary. I left the office excited about my treatment (which will be 3 crowns, 4 fillings, followed by braces) which should be overwhelming and scary. When I walk in they welcome me by name and my 3 trips to the office thus far have been nice breaks from work. Amazing isn't it!? Everyone was so friendly and personable. The atmosphere was warm, not sterile and outdated like some offices.
