The van is older but has low mileage. The air conditioning was not working and the power doors were not operating. My son said he knew a place in El Cajon that did good work on air conditioning. I told him that I was going to take it to a local place that has done work on my van. I was not disappointed. I went in on Friday morning and set up and appt for that afternoon. The air conditioner is working and we have the parts for the doors on order. Z-WIZ what wonderful service. THe main thing is that if they tell me I need something, I know that they are not just trying to get money out of me for something I don't need. I trust them implicitly. What else can I say??? That is why we were back yesterday. It was thought to be a cracked exhaust manifold, which was replaced. However, that did not eliminate the noise. I arrived @ 9:15, Your woman employees are warm and clearly knew their work. I was told when I booked my appointment, It would take no longer then one and a half hours to do an oil change and an inspection. I also asked for a blue tooth connection with my new phone. I was told that the connection would not be a problem and it would be free. Two and a half hours later my car was complete and I was charged $40 plus for the blue tooth connection. On my check in form, it was clearly marked that there was no charge for the connection. Your prices for service are fair, your employees are courteous and friendly. They found another issue, a factory part that had previously been replaced wasn't working properly. They replaced it under their warranty. In my opinion, other mechanics would have not even mentioned this, letting the warranty expire and charging for a new repair when it failed. I have been their customer for over 30 years - my husband stuck with his dealer for 10 yrs before he figured out he was getting 'taken!' Aero is the best and we highly recommend them! I am fairly new to San Diego and was having tons of problems on my vehicle. The fact that it is female friendly made me like them even more. I know absolutely no one here that would be able to help me with my vehicle. I grew up with my brother and dad constantly working on my cars. And now that I am thousands of miles away I prayed to find a place that would take care of me as much as my family had. Very professional. Also, the diagnostics from the front end was right on the money. I ended up flushing the brakes but not the coolant (they found a faulty hose) Unfortunately, as I was leaving I opened the hood, and found that there were THREE PLATIC COVERS to the engine area (98 Jag) which were left open and unsecured by the mechanic. This did not exactly instill confidence, as the mechanic and the gentleman at the front had to come out and secure the areas while in the public lot. Also, I was not able to use a $20 off coupon at checkout, which was a bit confusing. Again, front end great. Back end service, average. Finally, the tally to come back and replace the upper bypass hose with parts and labor estimated at $800.00. That price point is a bit absurd. It should cost no more than $400.00 for that work.
