Ivan and Tommy took care of me and wanted to get my car in top shape before sending me on my way. They explained everything along the way and were very helpful when I asked questions. Price is always going to be somewhat expensive for cars like these, but the price is far less than what anyone will pay at ANY dealership in the area and is overall very reasonable.

My 28 yr. old daily drive Carerra Cab still runs like new and can tear up the road with all the grace and agility of any 911. They took the time to analyze the problem and fix it as opposed to just replacing everything as the dealership wanted to do. That was a 70% savings to me.

Went in for oil change on my 911. Oil spilled in engine compartment, so had oil drips on my garage floor. No conventional oil available.

Plan on taking more time than anticipated. However, A very thorough run with all logs explained. All questions answered and you never feel like you are being rushed to completion. I will be back.

Ima has been such a huge help in the owning of my out of warranty Porsche turbo. I arrived one frantic afternoon, without calling and they were very helpful in explaining what happened with the car as well as what would need to be done to fix the problem I was experiencing. They then scheduled.me in and took care of the problem that day! Such a great shop! Highly trained professionals!

Excellent service! Ivan took considerable time to evaluate my vehicle before the run, and took the time to explain the data logs and answer whatever quetions I had. There was no rush and the work was done very professionally. I am sure that I will be visiting again.

Service & repair

Took my 911 in for a service, brake fluid flush and a few repairs. The pricing quoted was high, but there were no big surprises at the end. The work done was good, but my brakes did some strange things during a track day over the weekend so took it back in today and they were able to identify the likely cause (rear brake disc's clogged with brake dust - probably overheated the fluid). Nice job.

Best place for your Porsche.

Very knowledgable, clean and professional shop, and accurate estimates. I wanted to do some extra work and they actually convienced me that it wasn't necessary even though it would have costed me extra. That's service you can rely on. Timely repair too, delivered when promised.

I was pleased that Dan re-checked his estimate on fixing my heater/ac fan reducing a potential $1400 repair to a $320 repair. He listened to me about the fan switch, did a little more research and was able to just replace the switch. I did not receive this kind of response at Curry's about a year ago, they just told me "good luck". So I appreciate it. I would like to know what you guys would charge to do an oil change on my car, with the required synthetic oil. Thanks again!

I took my car to IMA for a pre-purchase inspection... the shop was clean, Ivan and Jimmy were quick to provide friendly and professional service, and explained/pointed out everything I needed to know so it wasn't just a diagnosis, but I actually got to see what they were talking about. Considering I don't know much about cars,this was important to me. I was able to make my purchase as an informed consumer, and not just someone who wantted a porsche. I wouldn't trust a high quality vehichle with just any mechanic, and I am SO happy I found these guys. Their dedication to service seems matched by their dedication to quality. I actually enjoyed the experience of the pre-purchase inspection.

More than an Oil Change

Just needed to squeeze in an oil change and was promptly accommodated. They did some other checks as part of the routine and found out I had a bad battery, which I replaced. This little extra check which I wasn't expecting saved me considerable headaches down the road. Dan gave me a shop tour which itself is outstanding and Ivan made me feel very welcomed. I drive there from MD not because it's convenient, but because of their customer service. They deliver on their slogan "Expect Excellence"!

IMS, RMS & clutch

Developed an RMS leak so went ahead and had the IMS and clutch replaced. IMS was starting to get loose (but no metal coming out yet) and clutch had <10k miles left. Ivan and Dan were very flexible in getting the work done. Excellent customer service as always.

At last - I have a real car-loving mechanic

I grew up surrounded by mechanics that truly loved the cars they worked on. But once I left home, all of my experiences were with 'just a job' attitudes, at dealerships and elsewhere. Finally, at IMA I can talk to people who know and love my Cayenne!

Oil Level Concern

I recently had preventitive work carried out on my Porsche 911, and since the work has been completed the car has been running like a "dream". I checked the oil on the car on Wednesday and noticed the level was low, so I called IMA and they said bring the car in the next morning for a check up. My wife took the car in and they looked at the car straight away and confirmed that all was good and it just needed topping up with oil. While my wife was there, the engineer also checked the other vital fluids on the car. What a great service..!! A BIG thank you to Ivan and his team..!!!
