A great deal of emphasis is put on education and prevention, which we really like. Equipment is up to date (the latest), and no one seems "drill happy", which is a very nice change from our previous experience with a competitor. Cleanings are extremely thorough, which again is a welcome change from a previous competitor we use to go to. Attention to a continued improvement in reducing risks of transfering unintended bacteria from patient to patient was noted, a general awareness in this area seems to exist. Ongoing education seems to be provided (or required) for staff, and lastly... a genuine concern for each patient is prevalent. This was by far the most pleasant experience I have ever had. The technology is amazing (I got to see my crown being created, on-site, in about 10 minutes). Dr. Mosby is a master at his craft - a personable perfectionist - just what you would hope for in a dentist. The staff are some of the nicest people you meet. All of this at pricing that is extremely competitive in our area. One would think that you would have to pay more for the technology and expertise, but we found the costs to be about 20% less than other area dentists - and, there is no mystery over insurance coverage, actual costs, and your final cost. What they tell you it will cost before-hand is what you pay. As one who has horror stories of childhood dentist visit trauma, I am on the brink of saying this about Laser Dentistry of Coeur d'Alene: Going to the dentist is actually easy and fun. Simply put, Dr.Mosby's and his staff are the most professional, talented, and personable that I have ever used. I have been going to them for a bit over a year and Dr. Mosby has already corrected several problems that other dentists actually caused. I drive 60 miles one-way to be able to see him. He is reasonably priced compared to others in the area and he never recommends unnecessary work.
