Danielle gave wonderful instruction. Loved the aromatherapy mist sprayed throughout the class and really enjoyed that the singing bowls were placed on us a few times. Just what I needed.

My overall impression of the instructors was positive.
Some administrative hiccups would help too. when I came the door was locked. A few minutes later, someone popped her head through the door and asked if I was the instructor of the next class. When I said who I was, she opened the door and let me and one other participant who was waiting in. This was Sunday. No one, including the instructor, who arrived a few minutes after us, observed the SHHH sign on the window as you enter and were talking in normal voices. I bring this up because it happened on Saturday too, but I was in the workshop and was really distracted with the ongoing chatter in the lobby. I finally got up, went to the door and made the SH sign to find that it was a staff member who was doing the talking. Sound has also been a distraction in the smaller studio, especially with meditation. There's enough noise in our heads. No need to bookend it with outer noise too. I have suggested white noise machines or reversing the position of the instructor and students in the meditation class, so that the students were further away from the main studio wall. thanks for considering all this.

They are so knowledgeable and welcoming to people of all experience levels. The teachers fully understand how to avoid injury, which is not always true at more trendy studios. You can find true peace and fun, as well as health, in your practice here. I practuce at several studios in town due to a fluctuating schedule and YC is my favorite.
